We are an independently owned and operated franchise location of The Tox; this Policy governs our local operations only.

This Privacy Policy explains our practices for www.thetoxtechnique.com pages controlled by us, our booking and communication platforms (including Mindbody, HighLevel, RingCentral, and Twilio), in-person lead collection (events, QR codes), and our social lead ads (e.g., Instagram and Facebook). By using our site or services, you agree to this Policy.

2) Who We Are (Franchise Disclosure)

The Tox Dallas University Park is owned and operated by The Tox Dallas University Park, LLC and licensed by The Tox Holdings Corporation (the franchisor). We control and manage your data locally. The franchisor may have read-only visibility to contact records for quality, brand, or support programs but does not direct our day-to-day data practices for the studio.

3) Information We Collect

Personal Information you provide directly may include: name, phone number, email, mailing address, date of birth, gender, payment details, appointment history, survey responses, communication preferences, and information you provide related to treatment goals and preferences.

Automatically collected data may include: IP address, device/browser type, general location, pages viewed, and interactions with our booking or messaging tools.

Lead collection: We collect information via (i) Mindbody booking forms, (ii) Instagram/Facebook lead ads and landing pages hosted in HighLevel, and (iii) in-person events (e.g., QR forms, digital forms, or written sign-ups transcribed into HighLevel/Mindbody).

4) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Schedule and manage appointments, payments, and reminders (Mindbody).

  • Send transactional messages (confirmations, reminders) and, with consent, marketing SMS/email (HighLevel, RingCentral, Twilio).

5) Google Analytics, Cookies & Pixels

We may use cookies, Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel to understand site usage and optimize campaigns. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may affect site functionality. 6) SMS/MMS ("Mobile Messaging") Terms (Texas SB 140 + TCPA)

We operate a messaging program called "The Tox Dallas Alerts."

Program description: appointment confirmations, reminders, service follow-ups, and (with consent) limited promotional offers relevant to our studio.

  • Originating numbers: Messages originate from (214) 466-2496 and/or any designated local long codes we notify you about.

  • Lead ads / landing pages (IG/FB via HighLevel): forms include required consent language and an unchecked checkbox.

  • In-person events: QR or digital forms include the same opt-in language and checkbox; written sign-ups are transcribed and retained.

7) Sharing of Information

The Tox Dallas does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used solely by The Tox Dallas and the service providers that operate our messaging on our behalf (such as Twilio), and is never shared with third parties for any other purpose.

We share information with:

  • Service providers/processors performing services for us (e.g., Mindbody—scheduling/payments; HighLevel—CRM/landing pages; RingCentral/Twilio—messaging; analytics providers; cloud/IT; payment processors).

  • Franchisor (read-only) for brand support and compliance.

We require service providers to use data only per our instructions and to apply appropriate safeguards.

8) Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, secure authentication, staff training). No method is 100% secure. Submitting information online is at your own risk.

  • Client/service records: typically 5 years (or longer if required by law or to resolve disputes).

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy or our handling of your data will be resolved by binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
